REGINA ALLEN

Regina Allen is a senior workplace consultant with extensive experience in training and human resource management in a variety of settings: healthcare, financial services, consumer goods and services (wholesale/retail), manufacturing and not-for-profit organizations. Her mission is to enable organizations to meet their bottom line objectives by creating an organizational climate that truly values employees and clients. Her expertise is in human resource issues including employee selection and retention, leadership and management development, corporate cultural diagnosis and strategic improvements, cultural diversity and respectful work environments.

As a senior consultant with Global OD Solutions since 2005, she has been involved with cultural assessments, respect at work, valuing and managing a diverse workforce, leadership development and mentoring programs. Past clients include Time Warmer, Quest Diagnostics, M&T Bank, American Express, The New York Stock Exchange, Boehringer-Ingelheim, AstraZeneca, Coca-Cola, Subaru of America, MSF/Doctors without Borders, Human Rights First and International Planned Parenthood Federation.

Before becoming an external consultant, Regina was Vice President of Human Resources at New York Hospital–Cornell Medical Center, a 760 bed non-union hospital. During her tenure, she created a strong culture of positive employee relations, a strategic partnership between human resource staff and management at all levels, and an effective consolidated learning organization.

Prior to New York Hospital, she was Vice President and Manager of Staffing Services for Shearson Lehman Brothers, where she developed and directed support staff training for all non-exempt employees of the firm, career counseled employees at all levels, developed and directed a successful ($25M) in-house temporary agency, and reorganized the employee records department. Prior to that, Ms. Allen was a human resource generalist and manager in a variety of business units of CBS, Inc., and was ultimately promoted to Manager of Career Development in CBS’ corporate organization. She co-founded and managed a successful start-up service organization, Victor Rug Company, and taught at New York University before joining the corporate world.

Regina has an MS in Community Organization from Columbia University School of Social Work and a BA in Education from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. Regina lives in New Jersey.
