JOHN KIRKSEY

John Kirksey specializes in human resources effectiveness and cultural diversity as strategic business change processes. His observations have been cited in professional journals and national media, including the American Management Association's Management Review Magazine, Gannett Newspapers, and BNA. In addition, he has been featured in interviews on CNN and CNBC.

Prior to his affiliation with Global OD Solutions, John was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led both the National Human Resources Consulting Practice for the Entertainment and Media Industries and the Global Cultural Diversity Consulting Practice. Prior to his tenure with PWC, he was a senior consultant and practice leader with the Global Diversity Consulting Practice at Towers Perrin.

John has consulted to a broad cross-section of the Fortune 100 and 500 Companies as well as multiple European and Asian Corporations. He has been an advisor to organizations in financial services, pharmaceuticals, electronics, manufacturing, entertainment/media, consumer goods and health services.

Before embarking on a consulting career, John was Senior Vice President for ICMA Retirement Corporation where Human Resources, National Accounts, Administration, Public Relations and Corporate Communications reported to him. He has also been a Human Resources executive with Cigna, Johnson and Johnson, Knight Ridder, Culbro Corporation and MMC.

Mr. Kirksey holds a Master of Arts Degree in Cultural Studies from Governors State University at University Park, Illinois and The Advanced Management Degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business. He serves on the Advisory Board of Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council. John has also been a guest lecturer on workforce change at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Graduate School of Business.

John is an African-American male in his mid-fifties who lives outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
