DENISE WOLFE, PhD

Denise Wolfe consults to businesses in various industries in addition to national, state, and local government agencies. Her work involves organizational assessment, strategic planning, program design and evaluation, training, and executive coaching. Some of the topics she addresses include: leveraging diversity, leadership development, high performing teams, effective communications, mentoring and coaching, employment discrimination, sexual harassment prevention, and navigating organizational change.

Dr. Wolfe has facilitated many train-the-trainer programs for leveraging diversity and she has consulted to a variety of business leaders, management teams, councils, and affinity groups. The areas of focus for her diversity work are recruitment, retention, mentoring, communication, education, multicultural and global marketing, and building an inclusive organizational culture.

She has traveled extensively with her consulting, and some of her client organizations include: Microsoft, Starbucks, Oracle, IBM, AT&T, M&T Bank, Lucent Technologies, Johnson & Johnson, Neutrogena, Novartis, Los Angeles Times, Nissan, Eli Lilly and Co., Glaxo SmithKline, Sempra Energy, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Ethicon Inc, ARCO, Federal Aviation Administration, Taco Bell, Cincinnati Bell Telephone, Ohio State Department of Development, the United States Postal Service, Vivendi Universal, and numerous departments within the Los Angeles County system.

In addition to her consulting, she also led a comprehensive global diversity effort for one of the major divisions within the Walt Disney Co. Dr. Wolfe is active in volunteering for various community-based boards. She guest lectures at business schools and presents at professional conferences. Her educational background includes both a Masters Degree and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology.
