AMBER MAYES

Amber L. Mayes is an organization development consultant and coach with more than eight years of experience facilitating the learning and growth of organizations and individuals. She specializes in diversity consulting and training, professional and life coaching, strategic direction setting, and team development. Her passion is creating environments where individuals and organizations can optimize their potential and performance.

As a complement to her consulting work, Amber has taught Organization Behavior as an adjunct professor at Bentley College. She is also currently an active member of The NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Sciences where she is involved in researching, presenting, and facilitating sessions relating to current issues in organization development.

Within her research and academic pursuits, Amber has particular interest and expertise in issues pertaining to multiracial identity, inter-racial relationships and cross-cultural communication. Her approach to this work has been called "exceptionally insightful and effective in bridging differences between people." Through experiential coaching and training models, Amber facilitates the individual awareness and skill development necessary for effective leadership in today's diverse world.

Amber holds an M.S. in Organization Development from The American University/NTL Institute and a B.A. in Psychology from Harvard University.

Amber has worked with leaders in corporate, academic, government and non-profit arenas to unleash the potential in their organizations.
